Beautiful classic CBX 1000.

Beautiful, always lusted after one of these when they first came out.

Serious questions, which are the better bikes - Pro-link or other.
Which are likely to be worth more as an investment?

The early pre Pro link CBXs are the ones that are sought after.

Mate of mine had an absolutely immaculate one back in the early 90's that I rode a couple of times , looked beautiful and was really relaxed to ride but on a bendy road was totally outclassed by my cousins CB900 FC.

Bet he wished he still had it today

Every year some Dutch guys rock up with about 6-8 CBX thous at the Bikers Classic weekend at Spa and thrash them round the circuit. They sound as if they've got jet engines in them as they drop down the hill past the old garages and are worth the trip there on their own.

Honda released the CX500 at the same track launch and the journalists were lapping faster on them than on the mighty 6-cylinder CBX. Not many CX posters on kids' bedroom walls, though.
