R1150GS ,a "project bike"

Coming on really well - love the wheels too and interesting to note that Mike can work on BMW cross spokes. I thought there was only one place in the country that could do that.

Out of interest - what was the original 1150 project that was too costly to pursue. Just interested....

Not sure it's my place to say, I'll let Mike explain if he wants to.

Great pics Mike, thank you.

Obviously, great work too. Looks good with the pipes on. :D :beerjug: :drool

Nice work ...

Where's the 'Hipster Special' work / refurb report?
I would like to see that ...

New headers or an amazing polishing job? I'd have stuck with the cat and dumped the can in favour of a stubby tail pipe. Not too loud, breathes better at low revs and gives better options for luggage.

Looks really great. I'm only a little envious, just a little

Ooooohhh Mikey that looks very tasty.
Tufty, well done for getting her there. She's an absolute beauty....apart from the very slow :barf:barf:barf colour :D I wish mine could look like her.

That bike looks fantastic, and all it took was an excellent engineer/mechanic/bike guru and a few ££££s.

Can't wait to ride it. :thumb

Thanks Mikeyboy.

wow Mikey is very clever :bow
you don't even have to use your switchgear to get the aux lights on? :D

make sure you don't drain the battery when you have taken your viagra
