1150 brembo front caliper splitting

Hi guys. My 1999 1150 front left caliper was leaking brake fluid so I've ordered new seals and pistons from motor works to replace next week. For both calipers.

Should I be splitting the calipers or leave them joined? I've taken the calipers off and got the pistons out OK. Was clear the leak was from.a scored seal. The opposite seal was also nearing failure with corossion pushing the seal inward.

Would replacing the seals between the body halfs compete the service or are these very unlikely to ever fail?

If you havnt been supplied with new ones ,just reuse,I've never had a prob
Will add, split the calipers,you will never clean the crud out otherwise,
The corrosion will be on the inside lip off the seal grooves,you need to make a "special technical tool to clean them,
Wire coat hanger chopped, bent and sharpened is perfect
