I've recently started commuting to London. I'm thinking about a camera. I'm not really interested in track day videos on youtube etc so any recommendations?

I think I would prefer a bike mount rather than helmet and ideally would prefer to be able to have a mount on more than one bike and swap the camera over.

Any thoughts?

Drift Stealth 2 is small/discrete and comes with mounts, so transferrable between bikes. Extra flat or curved mounts can be bought at a decent price.

It doesn't have a display to watch video back and doesn't have all the same goodies as the higher spec Ghost or top end GoPros, but from the sounds of it you're just after something to record the commute 'just in case'?

I've got one and use it for weekends away and the odd track day, and it does the job for those too.

You can get them for less than £100 now too.

Not so much a camera suggestion but if you are looking to mount on the bike (GS) I would recommend this. Nippy Normans sell them.

It does mean you'd be going down the GoPro route.

I also use a Contour Roam on the helmet but I would endorse the Ghost Drift also based on the quality of Baron Von Grumble videos (Ghost Drift S I believe)

It does mean you'd be going down the GoPro route.

You can get a RAM mount that is Go-Pro compatible so you can use this bracket to mount, and then attach any RAM mountable camera.

I can get a GoPro Hero3+ for £150 of the 4 for £220. That Drift 2 does look more compact for what I need though
