    Low seat green lane bike?

I've got a mate who wants to start trail riding. He has zero off road experience and is short in stature. I know there's the Serow which has a low seat height but what else is out there? We do ten to fifty miles of road work so it'll need to cope with that. Budget is £2k.

TTRE Yam is low (600) and very tractable -don't know about the 250.
Kouba make lowering link for a number of bikes.
Serow would be a good starting point.

Thanks both. That's widened the search considerably. I'd also forgotten about lowering links so that's another option.

AJP PR3 or possibly PR4 with a lowering link, depending on how low he needs.
For 2k he should be able to get a 2013 AJP.
