98 S plate K1200RS whats it worth

Just viewed a very clean red K1200RS with nearly 9000 miles on it seems to be genuine as well.

I know they are not really popular whats it worth.?


Its in really nice condition couple of rust bolts but nothing major. very genuine.

or what els do i need to know about this model K.

If you're happy with it..then the price was right ..post a few pics up.

Check the radiator condition and the koint where the gearbox and engine join

the rear crank seals can dry up if they are left sitting for a long time (If it does need doing get whoever is doing it to use a standard double lip seal as those BMW membrane seals are a total pain! Especially if the person doing the work hasn't done one before!)

and finally if its ABS it should be ABS two (2 rectangles on dash flash on and off together ) Make sure and flush the fluid evry 2 years
