Hmmm Close call! But the Very off road tyres saved the day along with a touch of brute force and ignorance

I walked it back to try and understand "What the Hell just happened????"

Entry to corner

The "sign" arrangement was in direct line as she started the front end sliding

Some how I got her kicked up and turned That's Gertie in the distance

It was at this stage I thought how the F*** did I stay on! its about 6 to 8 inches down in there!

This is what started the slip on the entry to the corner

It was very dark in the first part of the corner and this did not stand out at all!

Called Hedinau All Hail the K60s!

Your wise Deity was with you today.

Plus of course Old age and a gazillion hours in the saddle

(Basically to know If I didn;t do something Damn Quick

I was going to get hurt and so was Gertie!)

P.S. Hurts more when you're older too!

That would of been a nice clam against the Tarmac company!!!!

Looks like sand laid down to soak up an oil spill, on top of fresh greasy Tarmac, very nice indeed.

Of course had one been travelling at an appropriate speed and maintaining full concentration......................:p

Good one Jay, could have been much worse.

My K60,s have coped well with fully laden two-up work on all kinds of road on our trip away. Apart from the bumpiness and noise of them they are a very underrated option in my opinion.

Peter Nope No Milking parlour It seemed to be fermenting grass So probably dropped off a bale or load of silage

Might even have been a Horse schit but it was all pretty flattened out

I did think that, but iffin ya can't see it ya can't avoid it

If I'd been going any quicker even 5 mph and I'd have hit the Corner*** chevron sign, I only missed it by a couple of feet by hauling her over after a big kick off the ground initially to stop her going down

***My mate thought that would have been quite Ironic

Donny from Ballynure to Carrickfergus

turn off the New Line onto Cairn road and head towards Red Brae

Its the right hander just as you come to the first real trees covering the road

Not so bad in winter without foliage it would appear!

I know where it is now. So you like the k60 OK then. Thinking of sticking a set on my 1190r when the trail attack are done. Seen them at a reasonable price on oponeo.

Donnie If you Off Road they are hard to beat

but do not be expecting lots of lean angle on the road etc

My opinion is that the front is vague with them fitted
