    Burgman 400

    Hello all,

I am thinking about buying a Burgman 400. Last time I owned a scooter was in the mid 70's, a Vespa 200. I just wondered if anyone had any experience of the Burgman? Anything I should be aware of? Reviews, good or bad? I am intending to use it for commuting in and around London. Thanks for any advice.

Should be able to tell you soon. I put a deposit on a second hand one last week, picking her up in a fortnight.

I had one, used mainly for zooming up to London for the day. Brilliant, beats the sports bike away from the lights, weather protection, some side protection for your legs, tops about 95, up to 75 mpg if you're not doing 95!
