Quies wax ear plugs

Hi

I'm having problems with my ears and the Dr has advised me against ear plugs that you push in to the ear. He has suggested using the above and to try and make a plug to fit that doesnt go in the ear canal. I've ordered some to give them ago. I've got some noise cancelling ear buds which I may try as they dont push in to the ear.

Has anyone tried them or other suggestions?

Ever since I started riding with in-ear plugs I've had a 9-monthly appointment with my doctor to remove ear wax :blast

Back in 1970something, whe I was a PFY (pimply faced youth) I had my first ear wax syringe session, and the nurse said I would have this done for the rest of my life. He suggested once these was removed it would come back even more, and until I have up dairy a few years ago he was right.

Since then I've not had a problem and have to find other excuses to pretend not to hear SWMBO

I've used these DIY custom earplugs in the past, and they are pretty good. And at £8.99 for three pairs they are a bargain.
