I have a Garmin Zumo and Garmin mount from another bike, which I'd like to stick on the F700GS.

What's the favoured mounting solution, please?

got my TT zumo 395 to the left on the handlebars...
So it doesn't block anything on the dash / clocks..

Mine is on the handlebars
I am not very tall and it doesn't really obscure any of the clocks - just a small part of the Rev counter at low revs.

Thanks, that looks perfect. Where did the mount come from please? The clamp, and the bit with the ball on?

+1 for the RAM mount, they are tough and adaptable when you update your GPS. The RAM mount is tougher than most bikes i have owned.
It's a standard RAM mount - loads of them on sale, just google RAM sat nav motorcycle mount.
