Lowered 1150gs too low

Recently purchased 1150gs has been very lowered, bit too much for me. The shocks look standard, my question being how much adjustment is available with standard shocks? Can I adjust some height back in or will I need new hardware?
Looks 2 or 3 inches lower at the sump, I'm looking to lift it by an inch.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Show us some pics of the bike and the shocks. You can only lower the bike with the shocks so let's see them.

Do you have alloy wheels fitted? If so the front will be about an inch lower than standard.

Both front end and rear end must be lowered the same amount or else the suspension geometry is seriously compromised. It shouldn't be done at all. If the lowered seat mounting position doesn't make it work for you, them the bike is just not right for you and you should try another bike. Not what you want to hear, but it is what it is.
