I would like one of these but the screen thing is putting me off. Let me see what aftermarket ones are the best for protection. I know the BMW ones offer very little. thanks in advance.:thumb2

It's not that the BMW offerings give little protection imho, it's more they just direct the air straight onto the upper body & head creating (for me anyway) an unpleasant turbulance.

I tried the 2 BMW ones, both created the turbulance, the larger touring screen being slightly better. I bought the Givi screen and it was much improved.

However I tried riding without any screen recently and it's much more enjoyable than with.

This set up works well but looks pants unfortunately. It will be coming off in the summer

Two screens I've tried this suits me best so far it's a puig but I trimmed the top with a shallow v shape ( similar to BMW look ) to reduce forehead pressure at sub 80mph but over 80mph it could do with being a little taller ,,, I'm 5'8" I've done over 3000 miles with this screen of which 1800 miles in 6 days was done..

I tried the handlebar mounted MRA sports screen which worked well but looked ok but untidy
