Just found my suspension settings on the computer buttons (only ridden the bike three times so bear with me!). So i've got one up, one with luggage, two up, and then some mountains which are for off road (not yet!)

That seems fine, plus the soft, normal and sport - so i've gone for "normal"

is that all I need to fiddle with? I've never buggered around with suspension and on my old FJR the workshop set up the suspension settings and I just left them there which seemed to work.

however when carting my gorilla (son) home last night (19 st + 6ft 5 and built like a brick shithouse) i did wonder whether I could bugger about with pre-load, whatever that involves.

frankly i'm pretty clueless

so - keeping it simple - what do I do other than not take him on the back again :) :)

ta v much

Set it to Mountain with the engine running and after a short delay you will feel the front suspension suddenly lift with a bit of a jerk.

Set one up, two up and two up with luggage after starting the bike. The soft normal and sport can be set as you drive.
