I stumbled across this intriguing lighting setup on youtube. I believe that these sort of flashing lights are not permitted over her? But hey, look at this setup from the makers of the GS 911

It seems to be controlled by the thumbwheel, which is clever.

I declare no affiliation but I am impressed by the 'no wire cutting needed' professional setup:

NOT AVAILABLE in Europe yet and I will assume that flashing front lights and/or rear automatic deceleration lights are not permitted here. It seems configurable and for those that understand these things, it permits addition of other devices to the can bus with diy configuration.

Those flashing lights could, and will, cause drivers to emerge in front of you for obvious reasons.

All seems very clever.... I've seen this as well whilst trolling through some YT channels...

They call it a CANopener... which allows some wizardry to be done via the wheel for the satnav.:nenau:

The 'flashing rear lights' thing is interesting. Both my Volvo and Skoda flash the rear indicators and the stop lights depending upon the (emergency) braking force applied. I can't remember which lamps operate first. Also I have a couple of modules from SMIDSY that do this and have yet to fit them. Unfortunately the man behind SMIDSY has retired.

I’ve got a HEX EzCAN fitted to my GS and everything is configured by a laptop, you can switch the flashing function off as well as set any auxiliary brake lights to a percentage of rear light / brake light. Mine is set so the aux front lights flash when I use the horn
