Squire padlock SS65CS

The abloy 362 is a great lock for use with the Almax chain and ABUS WBA 100 ground anchor or the 342 for smaller installations and sheds

Yep... and that'll be fucked as well.

That video, whilst the same type of disk lock is not specific to the padlock which is a different design

At the end of the day, nothing will stop the Professional scumbag taking your ride, but the majority of bikes stolen, are by the lowlife scumbag opportunists, so if you can give them a hard time they will usually not bother and move on, and with the justice system, nobody can help to save your bike, because if they touch the lowlife scumbag, that poor person gets prosecuted, so basically try to make it as hard as possible to steal, and if it goes, well insurance is there for that.

This is the padlock supplied by Almax to go with their huge chains.

I just watched a scary YouTube video of it being picked in just over a minute.

Question: is it frowned upon to attach bird and fox scaring type shotgun cartridge mechanisms to my bike or close by?
Have a go yourself with your picks, the problem with these videos is that you don't know if the lock has been doctored, if all the mushroom pins have been substituted for plain then it can be picked easily, if the guy pulls the rubber bumper down and shows it as a LEV3 LCBS padlock then fair enough it cannot be taken apart.

No way do the Lock Lawyer or BosnianBill 'doctor' the locks they pick. Plenty of time they are happy to admit then they're beaten by a lock.
But, they are very experienced pickers.
Skills like that are unlikely to be found in a common bike thief.
