Second tacho sweep conundrum

I wonder if anyone can help - my 990 adventure (2012my with 15k on the clock) has started to do a second tacho sweep once it's started.

Has anyone experienced similar?? Any suggestions appreciated. The battery is fully charged and the starter solenoid has just been replaced

Looks like it may have been a dirty starter button - as I pressed it harder and longer it fired up, I doused it in switch cleaner and it now seems to be OK - I will monitor it - at least I have replaced all of the rotten wiring around the battery!

I had similar symptoms turned out to be one of the wires from ignition switch/ barrel broken ,intermittently making/ breaking contact about an inch below the top of the outer sheathing
