    Trails in Slovenia or Croatia

Decided on Slovenia and Croatia as destinations for this years GS adventure, and wondered if anyone has any experience or can recommend and good trails? Nothing too extreme as on a GS1200 Adventure, but would like to get the bike on some dusty gravel roads at least. Any suggestions?

Look out for land mine signs in Croatia

They're well marked but there are still a lot of land mines left over from the war and I spotted a few signs when I was there last summer. Maybe the signs are unnecessary now but I decided against being the test monkey.

There are still lots of unmade roads in Slovenia and Croatia used as ordinary roads. They can catch you out if you are not expecting them but if that is what you want they are almost everywhere. When I lived near there I always had my Garmin set to "avoid unmade roads" as I use road tyres on my GS. If you use a SatNav just untick that avoidance and you will soon find yourself on the loose stuff.
