Europe South not installing

Hi

Could someone explain how they managed to get Europe South on to an SD card on a Nav5 please.

I'm using an iMac, running Sierra.

I have an 8GB SD card, formatted to ExFAT, to remove the 4GB transfer limit.

I've uninstalled GE, and reinstalled direct from Garmin.

Ive tried to install the mapping with GE and through Basecamp and map install.

I tried a separate 32GB SD card, same result.

Even though I have manually selected the maps, the south is not installing.

I have no ides what to try next.

I had the same issue, but I could never finish the update with my Mac. Loads of calls to Garmin, in the end I loaded the maps on a PC and it worked first time.

This isn't frustrating at all, I think last chance to is contact that well known oxymoron, Garmin Customer support

I noticed that the first time I installed the two part map, Garmin Express didn't give me the options button so I could select to load them to my mac as well as my device. After an update of Garmin express this has re-appeard and the latest download went smoothly.

Might be worth checking to ensure your mac is mounting the SD card volume as well as the Nav 5.

Your SD card should be formatted to MS-DOS (FAT) FAT32.
