No, I hadn't been on the beer but I wanted somewhere to stuff a pair of overtrousers, a small chain and sometimes spare gloves so ordered a pair of these.

They promised me they'll fit on my standard 1190 KTM factory supplied bars and having these should mean I can still shove breakable things in the tank bag and other crap in these without carting the bread bin topbox about.
 
Let's be honest, rim tape is shite no matter how well it's applied.
 
They've arrived and look ok, I can't try them on the bike until I get it back from Gear 4 tomorrow but my wife tried them and found they fitted just right on the pannier rails on her MT09 Tracer and has said that if I don't want them they'd be very good as small soft luggage on that with them being 10l per side. Well unlucky because I do want them :D
