Gent's,

Some help please...

I have to fit a new battery to the bike is a 2006 heritage classic with an HD fitted Alarm and can I find the best way to isolate the alarm so I can change the battery can I hell. HD in Leeds said it can be done in transport mode....no it can't...

Any help appreciated before I go deaf with the alarm going off.

Thanks

TJ

Do you have the handbook ? It states "service mode"...not transport mode...

I have an owners manual but cannot find anywhere where it refers to service mode...everything but..

Next plan was to disarm it, just had to find out the code as it's been programed by the original owner.

How about using jump leads to keep the battery connected while your removing battery then put new one in and then using the leads to make sure it's always connected to power
I've done that with a car and worked fine
I'm signing a disclaimer just in case it Don't work for you
