A day out in north east France, starting / ending in Calais - 160 miles

I rode the route on a 1600GT.

On leaving Parenty to go up to the coast at Cap Gris Nez, the route takes you through what's a sort of French 'natural beauty area', down a couple of miles or so of single track road. It's not the smoothest of things but it's not a goat track or in any sense 'off-road'. There is a parallel regular D road if you fancy it. That being said, I've also ridden it on a GS, an HP4, an F800R and a Honda Bkackbird to name but four more bikes; so you'll (probably) be fine.

Are you seeing a load of code when you open it?

If so:

The route is hosted on Dropbox as a .gpx file, created on a Mac. When downloaded it should open straight up in BaseCamp or in Mapsource. Bods might find that it opens as a load of twaddle code in a text file; if so, do not panic! For some unknown reason the original .gpx file can gain a .txt extension. Download the file as normal, save it and then rename it by cutting off the .txt bit but leave the .gpx bit. All should then be good.
