In order to avoid umpteen threads on the subject, I'll stick this.

I'll unstick it when the strike (if it develops teeth) is over.

I think i'm jinxed, I'm away to the Pyrenees a week on Friday this will be the third time I have been hindered by French fuel strikes. What a bummer!

Hopefully this time it will all blow over by then. If it does develop and you are heading to France, my past experience was the Hyper/Supermarche's and Peage are less affected than town and city stations.

In Rhone Alpes now. No strike. No shortages. No queues. Saw a tanker delivering to the local supermarket yesterday.

Keep us posted the people who are in france please

No signs of a problem yet

Even if it develops it will mainly be Paris and maybe some larger cities, you'll be fine out in the sticks

Also, every one drives diesels over here so they'll leave the petrol for bikes :D

I'm off to Corsica on Saturday, no worries

This site has some info on which station is out of what fuel types. http://penurie.mon-essence.fr/w/

I used it as a reference to help a group of friends get home last time there were problems. Do check *when* the last update was for a station - I've spotted a few that are months out of date.

Just got back no problem with getting fuel
