Thumbs down Scrambler Annual / 6k Service Cost

Destination Triumph want £249 for a service in the Scrambler. I checked the service sheet, its new oil and filter, then just a check on the other components. Thats it. I would normally dealer service a bike for resale value if anything, but £249 for oil is even a bit steep for me and they wont negotiate, i tried.

Bulldog Triumph, in Wokingham are £210 fixed price, which is better but still pricey.

Cost to do it my self, £30? Would not having a dealer stamp for an intermediate service put you off buying a bike?

Yeah I'm thinking the same, I mean that really is a lot of money for basic work.

Do it yourself, mark up the service book and keep the receipts for Oil/Filter etc - supply receipts to new owner - or find an independent.
