First proper day out on Davina today.

Impressions are are just how much fun this bike is and how surprisingly comfortable.

220 miles around Lincolnshire twisty roads and even running it in ( not ragging the tits off it) this bike really is a hoot at cross country blasts. The speed it carries into corners is staggering and with brilliant engine braking it just zips round on whichever line you pick. The worrying bit is that its difficult to gauge the lean angle in as much as I have been to the edge of the tyres without really thinking i had.

The suspension set up straight from the factory is a tad harsh for my taste but I will get it set up properly when it is run in and had a change of tyres from the Super corsas ( sticky as fuck but I don't like them much as they just don't "talk to you")

I am confident that decent mile days can be done on this bike despite the small fuel range, the light comes on at just over 100 miles but even so i only managed to get 11 litres into the 16 L tank.

All in all I love it, soul, style and huge huge fun :bounce1

Looks a nice bike on the pictures, Doesn't sound much of a step down from the BM though...:D Still plenty of speed on tap...:blast

Goes like a stabbed rat but because its naked the wind keeps you in check. it is just fine below 100 but hard to ride above that which suits me just fine. That was the idea as the XR wasn't really performing properly below jail speeds.

I think as a bike for getting from A to B on smaller roads the Hyper will possibly be a bit quicker as it handles so well and is more linear in its power delivery, i.e its power is less frantic and lower down the rev range.

it really is huge fun !

It is a great bike and does something you of all people should understand

It is more basic and involving, the electrickery is there but less intrusive and different in the brakes are not linked the wheelie control is very very limited ( The SP may not even have it, I need to RTFM) full Ohlins suspension rather than adaptive stuff

Ducati have made a bike here that just makes you smile

I have had three Ducatis since 2004, my first ST4 was the first big bike I owned. Only last week I sadly sold my 1199 Panigale because it wasn't getting used.

Not once was I let down, sadly I can't say the same about BMWs

It looks like a cracking bike, but what's it going to be like for touring? Seems a bit extreme to me.

It is surprisingly comfortable and I have a Kriega US70 Combo heading my way courtesy of a fine gent from another bar. If that won't work out I will look at the ventura but have a sneaky suspicion that it would use the same mounting points as the Termi but could be engineered around that as a resort

He has the luggage sorted as he has got himself a bumbag :D

Fuck off :D And see below

For his mankini?:D

Might be the only thing I have room for :aidan

Cracker novelty bike but OTT for an only bike

Think of the hero points from fellow biker mates when i do 2000 mile trips :clap
