Whilst changing spark plugs today I noticed this? Is it supposed to have one wire going to it? Near side by oil sight glass.

Prob a level probe for the oil.

Unplug it and see what comes up on your display?

It probably works through the bike ground so only needs one wire to get a signal through the sender.

Is it supposed to have a single wire? Plug looks like it should have two :nenau

It connects to earth when oil pressure is low. In other words, the light comes on just as your crankshaft bearings get their last breath.

not likely, as Oil pressure is most likely taken from a pipe, on the discharge side of the pump, downstream of the filter?

Unscrew the thing and start the engine. Then decide where the oil pressure switch might be placed. ;)

It's on the oil pump outlet just ahead of the pressure relief valve.

Didn't realise you had to know what you were talking about, that's me buggered.
