Endeavour Motorsport & Sweetlamb Adventure Bike Academy announce a new series of UK navigation rallies.

The first event will be held at Sweet lamb Adventure Bike Academy, Wales. The remainder of UK events are yet to be announced.
The first event will be 14/15th October 2017.

How much £130 - this will include a prologue stage with medical cover and a GPS track or road book.
Competition liability insurance included for use on public rights of way. Free teas/coffees and BBQ on Saturday night.
On arrival riders will sign on and complete event admin. On day one riders will complete a timed prologue stage.

On day two we will upload your GPS with the route or issue roadbook rolls and set riders off on the navigation stages. You can enter as a GPS challenge or the roadbook challenge, we will provide the roadbook route only.
During the navigation phase we will include speed traps, secret check points and other navigational requirements. Penalty points will be given for navigation errors and combined with your prologue time to give an overall result. We will download your route from your GPS at the end of the day.

This is open to any off road, road registered motorcycle. Each bike will be put into a class based on CC and type i.e. Enduro, Adventure etc.
The tyres should have sufficient tread and capable to cope with the varied terrain, not standard road tyres. They must be road legal and we would suggest using a knobbly tyre.

For the GPS challenge you will need a GPS capable of reading and receiving a GPX file.
For the roadbook class it is advisable to use an electric road book. It is not a necessity but you may also wish to purchase an ICO computer. Highlighter pens, notebook and pens may also be useful.
Once you have signed on and we have received confirmation of your participation we will send an email with the rules and regulations for each event. If unsure on any element please contact us.

Looks as if there's a £20 'discount' - the difference between here and the eventbrite.co.uk page (where its posted at £150)..

Yes mate £130 now, but it'll go up to £150 2 weeks before the event.
If you click 'tickets' on the eventbrite page, it offers £130.
Its just easier on the admin if we know who's entered sooner.

Should be fun when entrants download the .gpx files to their Nav 6 units ....

Another couple of novice roadbookers all trained up today :)

As it's a new event and some of you are unsure about it, we've decided to drop the price to £75.

But that means we have cancelled one special test and the other venue.

Still one timed test each day and 75km Navigation Saturday and 155km navigation Sunday.

If you want to enter best to email us on info@adventurerallybike.co.uk

Well that was a great event from the organisers perspective :) No complaints and everyone enjoyed it
Everything went smoothly and to plan with nobody lost or broken :)

Congratulations to Matt Abel 1st place Roadbook on a 300exc and Paul Johns 1st place GPS on a 690.
There was some taxing navigation with nobody staying clean, picking up penalties for going over distance and missed checks. Interestingly the timed sprint times made no difference to overall scores! The 2nd fastest rider was last overall :D
