Google, magnifying glass on flexiarm. Then hit images. Look at the hundreds if not thousands of pictures and pick some that look exactly what you are looking for and / or some that might (with a bit of imagination and adaption) suit your purposes.

Remember that magnifying glasses depend on the ratio (distance / positioning) between your eye, the glass and the object. Your head is near enough in a fixed position when you hoon your awesome steed, which might render the magnifying glass all but useless. Trial and error may well be your best friends as you experiment.

Do post pictures of your final creation.

Or think out of the box. What all do you use your Sat nav for. Change from map to instruction mode and it will show to you, in very large font, the next turn ... Or maybe just use audio. As Wapping says - because of the constant movement of your head, the lens idea may not work as you expect.

I use yellow tint safety glasses when riding offroad and keep meaning to try a pair of BiFocal safety glasses where the main part of the lens is clear and the lower magnified to your needs, ideal for reading OS maps on the Montana.

Cheap enough and should sort the problem :thumb

In fact I'm going to get some of these.

:thumb I've been using the bi-focal safety glasses since Baldrick (theoneandonly) put me on to them. Without them I've got no chance of reading a satnav properly.

for picking out byways on a Montana OS map ,no problems on road routing in fact i get lost just as much as the twa....guys without glasses
i saw one on a guys bike a while back the arm was like those balljoints about 10 joined together

i was sure with all the old farts on here somebody would be using one but i spose its more of an trailbike thing
