Best protective denim style jeans - gggoooo!!

Well, I value my legs at more than £500, but if you do value yours at £19.99, then by all means no fecker on here will be stopping you from buying Aldi jeans. :rob

PMJ jeans are descent apparently. Available through Infinity Motorcycles. However they are also available through Touratech and also branded as such. Come with Knox knee armour (hip armour is optional extra). Top of the range Titanium comes with hip armour included. I've personally tried them on, felt good but were to short for me.

Hood Jeans are nice but a tad to thick for my liking.

I like Rokker revolution jeans.

Got Bull-it and they are utter crap. Terrible stitching, waste band is bigger by 2" than hip space and are stupidly heavy.

I ordered some Hood jeans and got this email from them after placing my order. Compared to most online purchase experiences it felt more personal.

Dear Garan,

You should have received an automated response from us by now but I just wanted to send you a personal one.
Your order for the Hood K7 jean in Black are in stock.
It takes a couple of working days to process the order and to alter the leg length ready for dispatch.
Thank you very much for your order, we are a small family run company so your custom is much appreciated.

With Kind Regards
Laura

Maple Jeans ~ British made, heavy weight selvedge denim, Forcefield armour and heavy weight Kevlar lining. And, unlike 90% of bike jeans out there they are actually good looking jeans that don't look like they should be worn by a an '80's German with a mullet..................

Been wearing mine at work all day today; super comfy and super hard wearing (mine are three years old now)

<a href="https://andressotoscastello.smugmug.com/UkGSer/n-5CFLKf/i-3VGc7bQ/A"><img src="https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-3VGc7bQ/0/4db8526a/XL/i-3VGc7bQ-XL.jpg" alt=""></a>

The bad news is they are no longer made. The good news is you can still buy them much cheaper than their original list price LINKY

They look good. How does the sizing come up; I'm a 32/33" waist, so are they generous in their sizing?

And what are they like in hot weather, not that we get much of that!:p

Sizing seems cock on ie I ordered the same size as I normally take in jeans - if borderline like your 32/33 go for 33.

The office was hot today, they were warmer than normal jeans but bearable. On the road they are fine, not too hot in summer yet warm in the winter unless it's proper cold.

Just ordered a pair of Hood K7 for the missus with level 2 armor, lets hope they fit, or she will have a fit lol.

Thanks, I'll take a look.:thumb

I've worn the Hornee jeans in winter - in evenings.

At least you know if you get hammered :jager:jager:jager and fall over in the street - you're not gonna skin your knees. :thumb

Ive had a pair of HOOD black cargos (with full para-aramid (kevlar) lining and D30 impact reactive hip/knee armour) for 3 seasons now - 3 trips into some blistering med temps and they did very well. Very comfy to wear, deep pockets, side pockets sooo useful on a trip with quality velcro. Not crashed yet, but did trip on a kerb and fall very hard onto one knee a couple of years ago and the knee armour worked great - hardly felt a thing, stood up and remember thinking - bloody hell that would have busted my knee !:rob

HOOD for me are a normal jean fit whereas other makes have low waist band which may expose your lower back to the ground should you come off.

your buying for summer riding ? just wait till next year then and get some through the winter at a show when they are a bit cheaper

Good call DC.......But couldn't wait.

I ordered a pair of K7 from Hood with D30 armour pro (bigger stuff) but sadly the fit was a bit (well OK a lot) tight so have had to send them back for an exchange..... and no I'n not in denial about my weight ;) . The quality was spot on though and I'm very pleased with them otherwise but not sure about the velcro fixing of the armour??

I'm thinking of maybe getting some stockings like under armour but with armour pockets....anyone seen anything like this or have experience of the Hood armour coming away?
