Green lining / Off roading in yorkshire

Myself and a mate are thinking of heading up to the dales in April / May and doing a little off roading. We will probably stay in Hawes (Cocketts hotel). We have 2 full days to ride obviously heading out of Hawes each day.

Does anyone have any route they could recommend? we have a WR and a EXC and want to explore. In the mean time i will scan the forum to find any information that has already been posted.
