    Insurance renewal.

Just had renewal quote from Bennets.

Difference between last year was an SP30 plus a non fault claim with my classic bike, with a different insurance company, totalling £1041.

Increase??? 321%. and that's with so called protected no claims!

I think ill be shopping around this year.

    You are not alone, bro.

Take great comfort in that, bikermate.

    Well a result of sorts...

Renewal notice arrived from Bennetts...obviously sent prior to my phone call...even before they knew of the on going claim they had increased it from £170 to £285... so in there eyes another years NCB merits a £115 rise?

So I decided to call Footman James...who my classic bikes are with..and the ongoing claim is with too..and got a quote from them for a modern bike. £319 FC and if the claim proves I was not at fault they will knock £100 off.

    Not too bad I guess.

    Chat to these guys https://www.bemoto.uk/

I dealt with Scott who was excellent, two GS with all mods declared and an agreed quotation for my Norton V4SS when it's ready.

Since then two mate have insured three bikes with them.

Very helpful and a can do attitude
