Sold my bike recently (classified ad) and they list your mob number.

    See if that works .....

They don't stand to Gain or Lose any Fees when you List "Classified" with Motor Vehicles.
They've already made their Money by charging you for the Listing.
What annoys me is that both eBay and PayPal now charge Fees on Postage Costs too.
I also know why they started doing it but that doesn't make it any better for the "Honest" Sellers among us.

Don’t think that’s the case now. Your phone numbers aren’t included in your classified advert like they used to be.
Daft, as you only pay one fee on classified.
    Ebay gets there money.

Guess it’s to prevent people looking for your number on a classified advert and contacting you about another item you are selling that isn’t a classified.

They need to have a rethink.

No email, and no phone numbers makes you feel like your doing something wrong. Just trying to give a potential buyer a way of getting into contact.

I just got banned for 7 days for buying 'off' eBay. The seller (mobile phone repairs) did the job £12 cheaper than if I'd done it via his listing. Their loss really, I buy much more than I sell.

Try listing a component of the things you want to sell. Bmw gsa triple black - wheel ( Rest of bike listed elsewhere). To avoid dispoontment buyers are invited to view the wheel which is in situ on the bike that is for sale

I presume the revised terms and conditions cannot be retrospectively applied. Therefore list an item with a very vague description like ' something worth approx £100 that isn't illegal and doesn't eBay rules'

Then list it befor the new terms apply. Edit the listing as you find stuff to sell.
