Knowing this bike was sat in a mates shed on the isle of wight for 4 years was painful. but I got it in the end...
Its a 1981 Laverda LZ 125, 2- stroke, liquid cooled (uses a zundapp engine)... shout up if youve seen/owned another. My research tells me theres only half a dozen of them in the country.
I havent got many 'before' pictures, they dissapeared when my old phone conked out. The ones i have uploaded are for reference.
Its all there.. shy of a master cylinder and front calliper. (hoping they show up in my mates shed)
Finding parts has been reasonable..
Needed a new oversize piston as it looks like its been over revved from cold.
Barrel and new piston will be taking a trip to langcourts.
All bearings are available short of a small needle roller on the back of the gearbox input shaft.. turning down a bronze bush to replace it.
