hi im looking for help on getting my 1100 gs to start it just clicks at relay when i press starter button ive changed the starter motor still no joy ive changed the relay part no fitted is 61361389105 yellow [ this part no for a 1150 gs ] but on my 1100gs i have tried new relay part no 61362306888 brownish colour correct part no for my 1100gs ???? still clicking and not starting any pointers to help appreciated ps im in central scotland so dont know any local gs mechanics cheers

Try replacing both the +ve cable from battery/relay and also run an extra earth from starter body direct to battery.
You can use jump leads in first instance to check that leads are problem.
Also although battery maybe fully charged, a slave can help confirm if bike battery is on way out.

Stabbing in the dark with starting probs here has this problem just manifest one morning with regular use? Reason I'm asking (jammed motor) dropped valve? Could it be a problem with the side stand cut out switch?

I'd be surprised if your battery has given up in that short time.
Check all earth straps and positive terminals.
Sounds like you've got bad contact somewhere.

Battery duff, check the charging rate my mate had a duff battery where are you my 1150 one is spare and still ok
