Does anyone know if there is much of a difference in the exhaust headers between a 2012 and 2006?

There's a set of Keihan headers on sale from a 2012 twin cam and I would like to know if they might fit a 2006 single cam.

The expertise and advice from the collective would be much appreciated.

Cheers

It's to do with the flappy valve fitted to the TC models, the headers are shorter to accommodate the valve, but you could fit a complete 2012 headers & silencer by removing the flappy valve.

The Keihan headers are designed to eliminate the flappy valve, the standard TC end can just fits straight on.

They won't fit.... Well they will but the rest of your system won't.

You can swap a full flappy valve system to a non floppy valve bike (and the other way) but you cant mix and match headers/silencers between types.
