I've been pondering the Hilltop mod for quite a while now. I recently removed the baffles from my Akrapovic and was pleasantly surprised by the improved gas flow so I almost convinced myself it wasn't worth getting the Hilltop mod done.
However, Once a thing gets into to brain it nags away and having learned about the post-in service I decided I had nowt to lose.
I sent my ECU on Monday afternoon and it came back on Wednesday morning. What service.
So today I went off to check out a group ride that's scheduled for a couple of week's time.
I only did around 150 miles but my grin muscles are still aching
For me the mod makes the bike far more flexible in terms of speed vs. gear selection. Power delivery is much smoother and the increase in Torque is really noticeable, especially at low speed. I'm a very happy bunny and can; like every other GSer who has had this done; recommend it to you
