TFT Gremlin

Has anyone experienced problems with the TFT display on the 1290 SAS? Premier Bikes swapped mine for a new unit after 800 miles as it periodically defaulted to French when starting up in the morning - it was an intermittent problem but kicked out the fuel gauge and preferences display. A software update didn't solve the problem hence the new unit; the old one's on its way back to Austria - apparently KTM are very interested in it!

It might just be that some of the software gates that would determine the language output has gone pop.

I think it's a not too subtle hint on the part of my bike that it wants to go and play in Europe!

Count yourself lucky they replaced it - Premier could have joined in and just given a gallic shrug in response to the problem :aidan

Seems strange. When my Mercs Nav/dash defaults, it reverts to German - probably me pressing the wrong button.
I would have thought a KTM would do much the same.

Sounds like the Voltage is dropping too low during start up BTW, so I wonder if the battery is failing.

Premier are good guys, but is it definitely a UK bike?

It's a mystery - I'll hopefully get to hear what the feedback from KTM is?
