I'm trying to find a new (creative) way to secure my bikes to ground anchors.

Using 16mm chains doesn't give many options regarding where to "wrap" the chain around one of the bikes because of the lack of spaces on one of them.
I was thinking about using an anti pinch pin fixed in the telelever arm (didn't have time to measure, but it should fit through one of the two gaps at the front) and then chain to the anchor from there.

As anyone tried anything like that?

Check out the centre stand. On a R1100RT I used to put a chain through the front wheel and then padlock it to the centre stand. Without the chain I just padlocked the centre stand down. Check to see if there are any convenient points on the stand that you can use.

Sorted. Apparently the pin can fit through the frame pipe easily.
