Wanted: fuel tank access cover.

Good evening all,

I'm looking for a replacement access cover for my fuel tank - this is the circular panel that attaches to the top of the tank to allow the connection of the fuel pump and wiring inside the tank.

Fuel pump and other internals aren't required, I just need the cover in good condition. Not sure how I've managed to do it. But I've broken the electrical socket on my existing cover. The terminals have got corroded and now stops the bike, or smokes under throttle. Not good.

What's about please?

Hi Nathan - there is a complete fuel tank along with fuel pump on eBay , hard to tell from picture if electrical connector is all OK , you can see the feed pipe nozzle is broken . Might be worth speaking to them as if OK it will be better than the price of a new pump from BMW !

Also - I have added a rubber fuel pump cover off a F650GG to keep the weather out and stop any corrosion - plus a coating of dielectric grease on the connector ;-)
