LDT bike anyone?

Are the headers equal length, or do they induce a bit of burble ;)
No idea,
It’s a styling exercise on a 70’s bike,
The only thing the motor has to do is produce nice power from tickover.
It’s being built as a LDT bike.
It has heavy flywheel,small port,small valves,small carbs.
All about the bottom end,
The only change to the original spec at this time will be the fitting of later nikasil barrels and pistons, which are slightly higher compression.

That’s the dry build pretty much done:D
It can come apart again now,so I can prep for powder, build the engine, rebuild the forks and wheels, rebuild the driveshaft and bevel.
phew not much then:augie
Anyone seriously interested in buying the bike should shout up now if they want any input on the final spec:thumby:
If not I’ll keep it ,,,,I love it:clap

Every exhaust will have a sweet spot, even uneven ones, and the short high level 2/1 uneven ones on British parallel twins worked particularly well right where you you used it most, in the 2500 / 5000 rev band.
Long equal length headers will probably show a couple of horses more on the dyno when you get over 7500 revs , so depends on how you ride the bike on what is best for you- most airheads seem to prefer long equal !

Got a bit more done today
