    PCP calculator

I was looking at PCP prices a while back,

and recall seeing a calculator where you could play with the mileages / deposits

to see what rates / prices are.

I had a look on Bahnstormers site this morning, and it only give a simple fixed

price based on 5K annual mileage.

Anywhere i can find a more flexible calculator

    That's a good tool.
For a £103 a month I can have a very nice gsa for three years with 6000 miles a year.
    That sounds great!

But they want over £7000 deposit.
So, it will cost me about £10700.

    Not so tempting now.

What's that based on - £15k-ish purchase price?

    £3,500 depreciation/yr?

    Jeez!

Crazy isn’t it? As long as the monthlies suit some folk, they don’t worry about that.

    Sounds dear, I tried it and a GSA Rallye with 6,000 miles and a £4,500 deposit was £101.53 / month = £8,155

Depreciation hits all vehicles, so you either Pay-As-You-Go or pay cash/bank loan and take the hit up front on the chin, from Day 1

If you have a month old bike with 100 miles on it and change you mind, so sell in such a short time ...............you'll have a kick in the nuts, because a dealer/trade isn't gonna value it anywhere near a new bike's RRP/discounted price as it'll work against them selling new bikes instead
