I’ve an Abba bead breaker and it works ok without damaging the wheel. Don’t use it any more though as I cat be arsed for the sake of a few quid. It’s not exactly portable though!

Short of kitting out the shed with a professional tyre fitting machine I cant see the point in DIY tyre fitting.
