Hi everyone. Well after many bikes in my life decided to get new GS Rallye on my 40th. Overall happy with the bike. However I wish that shifting from neutral to 1st will be smoother. Really surprised that on cold engine shifting is fine but on warm sometimes 1st gear can be very noisy, is that normal for premium bikes these days? :)

Noisy ? Clunky ?

Mines a tad clunky but that’s the GS for you !!

Enjoy the bike .

You’ve chosen the best colour by far !!

One of biggest reasons to buy that bike was colour :).

There is one more thing that bother me. Is that also common that there is water leaking from the exhaust? Obviously on dry days :). Never noticed that in my previous bikes?.

Nice new bike, i'd move it from the used section for further pics though. Oh & Welcome!

Yep all bikes produce water vapor but it’s maybe more noticeable with the GS because of where the drain hole is

Oh, and welcome to the forum :thumb2
That is what I thought but my old jeep 4.7 v8 produce less water from exhaust than gs :).

Fuel air mixture for petrol engines is around 15:1

Which means coincidentally for every litre of petrol you burn roughly a litre of water comes out of your exhaust

(If I’m sounding at all like Engineer of this parish please do not hesitate to shoot me)
