Decided that I’m serious about buying a GSA now just need to decide which model.
Spotted this one on EBay it looks very clean and low mileage, just wondering what you guys thoughts are on this ? Is it expensive for its age ?https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/112824930239

Another that takes my fancy is on Gumtree

I would appreciate any comments as to which is Best Buy or which to avoid :thumb2

You really need to ride both the new liquid cooled one and the pre 14 oil cooled...Hexhead/TC (Twin Cam)
They are chalk and cheese.

As previously stated they are totally different from the W/c models. However, as the last of the twin cams these were pretty well sorted and are a fabulous purchase. I purchased a 2012 triple black from a dealer with 7000 miles on it last year and paid over the odds at £9000. However it is mint and it was what I wanted so I was happy to pay the money for what I personally think is the best gs. The mileage is low for the bike advertised but your seller does go on a bit about how mint it is which I find a little off putting. Also, I can quite honestly tell you that it does not have thousands of extras. In my personal opinion I would say go and have a look, get a feel for the guy selling it, do a hpi check just in case and if it floats your boat then get it brought. There is nothing better than that panic stricken, sweaty moment when you realise what you’ve just spent then get it home and enjoy the shit out of it.

Edit, just noticed second bike 2015. Go for the 2012, more vibes but get it remapped at hilltop but def better sorted and it’s black which is faster anyway:thumb2

If you go the WC route I would look to buy from a Motorrad dealer - I have been looking a lot lately and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of difference in the price, from the private sector, and you get a 2 year, BMW, unlimited mileage warranty.

Mind you that’s GSs - GSAs might be different.

Definitely try each, as said, they are different

The EBay one has gone !
Had a look on Autotrader seems to be lots of lovely bikes out there for sale.
I’m sure I will find what I’m looking for, going to have a look at the local dealers see what’s available.
Any deals on new bikes ? Or am I just being ridiculous ?
