Another Facelift?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, was looking at pics of GS’s tonight & noticed slight changes to the panels below the tank. My 2016 model has the same panels as the 2012/13 original, then came the facelift with the “fake screws” & now looks like they’ve changed the design again.

No, they are both the latest style, it's just that the Exclusive model has metal versions of the new shape panels and the other models have plastic ones.

The tank side panels are also such a much better shape on the 2017-on bikes. The beak has also changed.

Has anyone tried fitting the face lift parts ( tank sides and radiator covers) to the 2013 - 2016 style bike ?
I think it would be a popular upgrade.

I think I remember reading that the air intakes were changed along with pretty much all the front panels, so I suspect it would not be an easy upgrade.
