Just bought the Virb Ultra from Halfords at a decent enough price.
Why are you thinking of the XE? Is it for the native waterproofing?
Possibly contact Garmin to look for Refurb units although they are not renowned for best prices.

Thanks chaps looking for the VIRB xe primarily for use as a dash cam and its waterproof power connection. Will use the camera for other things, but have looked at all the others and the xe has the best on bike power solution. I know you can buy the X for £189, so was hoping to get the xe for around £250 from a retailer (don’t buy from ebay anymore).

Yep sounds about right, unless you find something on Ebay that you do not use, snap up the 299 quid
