Nice quick run today to the Cookstown 100 with my mates. Really loving the way this handles, stops and the quick shifter.
Not much parking today- really big crowd- but still love the fact you can get so close.

Great run up to Portrush today with my older brother on his GS LC. The custom paint on his bike
looked great in the bright sunshine.

Reggie, when you and your brother swap bikes can you guys feel a real difference in handling / steering /bar pressure between your bikes due to the 17 vs 19 inch front wheel ?
B.t.w. I was a Foggy fan,too but never bought a Duc.During the days of the 916 I rode a R1100S...Enjoy the races and be easyon the guys on "real sportbikes".
They hate getting passed by a GS...:D

This is what I received from Rennkuh. And it all fitted together perfect.

Trying to understand a couple bits as I'm headed down this path. In the first image below, I see the pieces that are advertised on rennkuh.de. I fathom the green bits I circled are the actual standoffs, but what about blue and red? Additionally, I'm confused as to where the pieces I labeled "A" and "B" in the second photo come from. Is it just an optical illusion and those are the blue and red circled pieces from the photos?

Thanks in advance!

My R1200GS meets it’s older, wiser German cousin. Outside BMC bikes in Belfast with Billy McCutcheons R100GS PD with 18” front wheel conversion.

Any further comment on the handling 17 vs 19 plus clearance as its a lot warmer now.
Thanks

I'm not a track day type rider so speeds are kept to a sensible pace but I did have a great swift run up the coast road to Portrush. I am never going to have any issues with ground clearance but I can says it is fantastic into the corners. I was chatting with BMC bikes yesterday and it has the same feeling as when I built my DR800 super moto back in 1994. It just handles really well.
