    R100r Mystic

Well after all the banter in the 4sale section I have decided to keep this lovely bike
Question is when will I ride it

I have not seen a Mystic for sale since I bought mine! Before that is was the only one I had seen since it previously been up for sale on here. Has anyone else got one?
    Who has a 100r also ?

Oh and it cleans up super. May even paint the petrol taps and fit all the nice stainless oil plugs and the like

Yep... Worth keeping... I'm an R100R owner who couldn't (luckily...) sell mine... Might have been location, might have been miles but price was generous and you certainly wouldn't get another... The trouble is even tho they are 75% GS, they don't have the cache and people don't know about them or really understand them... Actually the best parts bin special of the late airhead era and a sweet running and really sweet handling bike... A proper stealth back roads bike...

I remember them coming out and even tho I didn't Do BMs at the time, I remembered them... Wanted one for years, should have bought at least two before I did... Won't sell now and am mid RT conversion that be quickly reversible... All good fun... They become a bit precious but this is counter to their purpose and I'll ride mine far more this year... Scottish solo tour I think...

For me the Mystic is the nicest looking of all the airheads, followed by the S/T. Though thinking I may be a little more road oriented than most people on here :-)

    Yes, I’m keeping it.

I used to be in the Jewellery trade and sold high end watches. I smile on here at the prices people pay

Well, you caused a fair amount of hilarity with what you were asking for your bike...

Which it is worth all day long....... 4K ended up being the most I was offered and after all the banter on here I decided I didn’t need the money, it’s a brilliant bike to ride which I might do once in a while so I thought as I don’t need the money really
    What’s the point in selling.

You find one, mine is going to sit in the shed, I may even clean it once in a while and ride it for the grin factor on the twisties.
