I'm looking to get some gloves mainly for summer use but obviously ( in UK ) waterproof and with some protection built in wouldn't go amiss. Don't want to spend a fortune but upto £40 ish.

Cheers

Mick

Alpinestar GPX - best gloves in the world once broken in.

Would you prefer the left or right glove?:D

Does £40 buy you anything but rubbish unless your rummaging through the end of season basket.

Good luck with your quest.

I've got a pair of HG gloves that I've been using for 9 years - cost me less than £40. They don't make them now though! :D

Have a look on Amazon OP - you can read reviews on there too....

Rev'it Summit 2, waterproof but little heavier than summer gloves and similar fit and good protection including scaphoid. With heated grips they're 3 season (gusting 4 in the South West) unless you're doing big miles in very cold weather. So good, I don't use my Alpinestars Jet Road winter gloves. The problem is, they're 110 quid, but it might give you an indication of how much what you want is gonna cost. Forty quid might not cut it. :)
