Just started the bike (2013LC) and the LED headlight warning indicator is on (lampf). However not quite sure what bit isn't working. Just the lower part of the main beam seems to stay on for about 3 seconds then turns off. The rest of the light is on ok.
Is the warning correct? If so any idea how fixable? Have extended cover and I know these things are very expensive. Any idea if BMW will replace it? Anyone else had this?

On the pre LC model lampf is also caused by a faulty indicator bulb....

If you have fog lights, they can be a cause too.

It’s could be the headlamp cooling fan that’s failed, a similar thing happened to my bike, dealer fitted new headlamp fan and all was fixed with no further issues in 11,000 miles

Mine was done under warranty.
