And also annoying that Honda still fit those bloody awful Dunlops as OE equipment.
Like you say Arsey, each to their own, I’ve just been to the Ardennes on mine using the Dunlops and they were absolutely fine

But did you get wet ?
Mine were fine in the dry but lethal in the wet trying to tide over the Hardknott a few years ago.

Luckily no rain :D:D but got wet in Peronne in April and again fine, just rode accordingly :thumby: on my GSA i do however prefer Conti TA2, gotta put a new set on before the Pyrennies in 6 weeks :bounce1

When I had the AT I fitted Conti TA2s as soon as I got back from trip as hated the Dunlops. Will probably fit them from new on the ATAS or possibly TKC70s

Just changed my original tyres to the pirelli Scorpion Rally str's for a week away in Scotland, wish I hadn't now because it hardly rained and my "new" rear tyre is already squared off a fair bit! Surprisingly straight roads in Scotland..

Had a couple of hours on the ATAS.....very very nice indeed. :thumb2

I fitted my Sargent seat on the demo which transformed my tippy toe concerns and the latest DCT ‘box is fabulous and that downshift blip is a lovely touch. In all honesty, the only real benefit I’d be buying would be the extended fuel range tho’ and the price to change would be a tad hard to swallow. There’d be plenty to swop over from my current AT plus other items I’d sell (for instance, I don’t think I’d bother with the Arrow as the stock pipe sounds great) but it’s a real hard one to justify.

Looks really nice that does.

The only reason I won't bother going for a test ride on one. I've had mine 6mths, done 5k miles and can get 200 miles to the tank quite easily...a bit more would be useful but not worth £4k or £5k...
Come late 2020 tho....:thumb2

if its of any interest i have a brand new set of Dunlops £50

Collection from Derby

My thoughts exactly!

Read the text , they are going to be the quick release type so no frames when you are not using the boxes :thumb

Good point.

My bro has the quick release Givi frames on his Rallye.Need to take a look.

Perhaps I’ll try sell my Bumot panniers/frames together with the 1290 then go the Givi Route with the ATAS.

The 37/48 litre option below looks ok.

Though I’d get the black I think :

Now had I known that I wouldn't have bought rubbish Honda ones, oh well...

Has anybody used the quick release Givi set up on a normal AT ?

Had a look at my bro's Rallye today and he said he had to move the indicators to accommodate the Givi brackets.
He also fitted some security bolts,as, being quick release, any tea leaf could nick the whole bloody things.
I still think I might stick with Bumots though I do like the idea of taking the (Givi) frames off when not in use.

There are a few tweeks on the rear light/mudguard area, but panniers will fit. Top box will not though, unless an aftermarket company comes up with an adaptor attachment plate.

Not true.Covered elsewhere on here. The Bumot rails from the AT won't fit the ATAS
